I actually agree that AA men don't get the same treatment for skin complexion. Alot of people equate dark skinned men with warriors, mandingos, etc. The way this idiot said it tho u can tell its alot of self hate going on tho.  Dont want girls MY color.  Don't like MY color.  I have to take back the not hearing disparaging remarks about dark people thing tho.  I have a lighter skinned friend that just recently told me that when they were young they thought dark skinned people were dirty and alot of other really DUMB shit. They were really ashamed so i didn't harp on it but I definitely did side eye them a lil because i just felt like where does that mentality come from.  Great, u grew up and realized it was stupid af but where did that even originate for u? I didn't say anything about being fetishized. Im not talking about mary getting frisky and wanting some big black dick because she heard the rumors. This whole thread is about  how we as black people view ourselves and this whole skin complexion ordeal. And within our race, dark skinned men is not sum terrible thing.  Women especially hold black men high in regard. The same is not necessarily true for women. THAT'S what I'm talkn about
