Mig was def in the same bracket as Frank. They're music is different, but they both do Alt/RnB (do they even still call it that?) - remember this was back in 2011/12 when the genre itself was still pretty new so they lumped everyone together.


Frank got the critical acclaim.

Weekend became the Pop star.

PND started killing it behind the scenes.

Then Bryson came along and kinda snatched everyone's lane

there's nothing unique about Bryson, he rode the trap train.

The rest of the guys have their own sound, niche and lane.

Him and Frank never sparked me as niggas that would go the mainstream route. What The Weekend did was surprising to me at least - his mixtapes are still better than anything he put out in top 40.
