they were best friends for 7 years and finally decided to take another step together. he's black, she's white.
i love her - genuinely a sweet girl. its true love that slowly blossomed between them. they really took their time. its gonna last very long for them.
this is why i strongly believe that every white woman with a black man doesn't see him as a fetish or nothing more than mandingo. i agree that hetero black men are widely portrayed as a strong, protective group of people. and ppl may take to that. But plenty of black women want them for that reason too.
her white family has EMBRACED him. as his family has embraced her. both sides attending the wedding all smiles. so when the time comes, its a big chance their mixed kids will be accepted by both sides as well.
The most beautiful part is that they're both very young -- both just starting out, and both working people. so no one can even say its a money thing on either side.
it's just nice to see with all the negativity and hate, there is still some genuine luv and unison between people from two different families and backgrounds.
this story seems more the exception than the norm, but it's nice to see.
