She worked hard for "Cadillac Records" though. Out of her own mouth she and Jay had tension during that time because she was trying to be in that down/druggie head space. However, I agree its not something she wants to completely immerse herself in right now again.
Her schedule is literally full.

!!!! Musically, she's sooo fucking talented and up there with the best. THAT's the craft she took seriously, and full time. To expect her to dominate both and really excel ..  that's a lot in one lifetime. Shit is rare
