Well firstly, they received money thru court and royalties was probably also a part of the deal. And how are u sure she didn't write anything?  That's kinda silly. And whether she did or didn't, she has her name on those songs and is getting paid for it.  That's kinda all that matters

Royalties are different.  They all wrote a lot of that album and got paid as songwriters.  But before that (didn't write much on the debut), they were working and touring earning nothing.  Those funds aren't paid by the orgs that pay songwriters.
