I liked it.  I thought it dragged a LITTLE in the middle, but it was overall very good.


Better than most of those goofy superhero movies, I'll tell you that.  I like comics but hate superhero movies.  They are so formulaic and boring.

Some who didn't like can't remove their marvel colored glasses. Or their expectations were misguided. Most people didn't know WW'S story like a Batman or Superman, so her story needed to be told.

Yeah, it's an origin story. It focuses on how she came to be, her homeland Themyscira, the Amazons, and it delves into her eithics as a heroine. It's basically a coming of age story from the perspective of a young woman with a VERY sheltered upbringing figuring out that things aren't what they seem. Very relatable storytelling imo. Gal captured the essence of WW in a great way. Kudos to the production team.

Exactly!!! So much emphasis has been placed on Batman and Superman's backgrounds but WW's needed to be told. She's randomly appeared here and there but she needed a full reintroduction..
