That's wild AF but I have this older cousin like 45 who had gastric bypass like 8 years ago she kept the weight off and she looked great. I think she got down to like 145 which was her ideal weight. But I saw her last year at a Christmas party and she is wider than before her surge. She said that the doctors told her that because of her excessive eating she has stretched her stomach out to a similar size pre-surge.

It's not right to be rude about it though or condescending. A lot of heavyset cases are purely medical and regardless if someone adheres to working out and eating protein and greens a lot of internal factors may be keeping the weight on them. Unless you're a doctor who understands what's going on inside their body, I do think it's unfair to judge

No, i don't feel sorry. I have one big female friend and she told me she is in the process of preparing for weightloss surgery. Apparently when ur doing this, u have to adhere to a diet and show them ur ready for the life change or some shit. She can't even bring herself to adhere to the damn diet. I'll ask how its going from time to time but im not gonna bug her about it.  If she complained to me tho, id probably be brutally honest and that would probably make her not wanna confide in me about her weight

yeah my friend actually had the lap band surgery and lost like 50 lbs. The surgery she got was where you have to fill the band with fluid in order for it to actually restrict your eating. Well she would get it unfilled so she could stuff her face. She has gained 100lbs.

See now this is just some bullshit
