People need to be more responsible with their pets. Like not taking their dogs near croc infested waters

That's the thing I wonder about, though

How do we know that the waters were indeed crocodile infested?

A shark can wander near a coastline and wreak havoc in waters that are not known to be shark infested. Like hey swimmers! Surprise attack! hehe! I don't know if I'd be on board with blaming the pet owner unless I knew more of the specifics. They could have been indeed caught off guard.

But I get what you mean.

True, I guess it's easy to assume that they were near some swamp or something  but like you said it really could happen anywhere there is water.

I doubt anyone would let their pet just swim in water that they knew was crawling with croc's. It's not like they'd get any insurance money from their death or something.

I feel sad for them. And I think this video really highlights how sometimes our empathy and feelings get involved when it comes to the circle of life. I'll sit here and say "omg u fucking evil croc ", then pop a hot wing in my mouth.  That's another debate that's never ending.....

Are we any better? Or simply further separated from the process?

We see ourselves as "better" because we're at the top of the food chain

I see people saying a best friend was lost, if it were my dog I would be pissed. But does the croc really know better, it would eat us. Killing a crocodile for killing is just redundant, just move it to its natural habitat

I think his cat had already died of natural causes and he put it through taxidermy. Still strange that he turned it into a helicopter!
