If you have a more racially mixed look you can pull off more different hairstyles without it being painfully obvious and looking off. Kinky hair looks right on my head, the same way curly hair does.

I will keep this in mind for next time though. I hate that I went for super straight instead of a curly mess. That would have suited me better.

this is pointless. i can't take blind hating. i don't feel i look less black, society and anthropology does. i spoke of a general tendency and not few exceptions and i wasn't talking about me either. the perm being well done or not doesn't really add to the point i made. that is another issue in itself.
