I didn't grow up in the church or with highly religious parents so it was kinda easy for me to start giving it a permanent side eye, but I've come to realize that faith is what helps some people get up every morning and the only thing that's really keeping them going. The idea of bringing yourself closer to a higher being outside of yourself (god, allah, buddha, a rock, whatever..) is pretty much harmless, but keep the rest of that judgmental, pious shit far away from me.

One thing is for sure, the world cannot continue to go on like this. It's never been this bad, not globally and if there is a God, you'd better believe that he's about to make himself known very soon to the point where people cannot deny it any longer. If there is a God we need him now. And we need something to believe in considering the current state of affairs. The pain has only just begun.
