it boggles my mind the people that want to do entertainment or porn,etc but are afraid of getting out there/the criticism....you want to be a singer, but you dont want people to hear you sing, you want to be an actor but you dont want people to see you act...

I think there's a point where I realized that I do not exist for myself; I feel as if I belong to others, and exist to make them happy. I seem to have that effect on people. But I had to take some time to make sure I myself was fulfilled and happy. I don't want to be someone that makes everyone else happy and comes home to cry and struggle personally. And I was that for such a long time. I thank God for a second chance, and am so thankful that I survived it all. Everything from eating disorders to depression. I am here, healthy and looking the best I have since I was in my teens. I have not seen or felt this Herbert in so long.  Life is good. Maybe he came back because I pushed the characters out of the way so he'd have his space back.

Sometimes I still cry, and wonder why and question things......I do not have a picture perfect life. And I don't plan on getting in front of a camera and pretending like I do. Because you reach no one by looking down on them. We're all in this together. And I'll gladly take the jabs and punches, and criticisms and hatred from others, from putting myself out there. if that's what it takes to reach my intended audience.

I think that once you begin to develop and live up to your own standards for yourself and stop worrying about others' expectations, what people have to say about you becomes so much more insignificant.

Because those people who do not care for you, will always find something wrong, no matter what you do. Which is why its so dangerous to absorb what they push your way.
