I don't think it's hate - I think that in this current social/political climate even a hint of coonery or Uncle Tom-ness is going to be checked.

But, to be fair, this board does have a history of being harder on Black gay men. I recall having to defend gay black men in a dating thread we had on here not too long ago. It was shocking to me and a bit offensive how quickly everyone jumped to generalize and bash. When we all got some Black up in us on here - except Annie, Squid and Ifran.

Todrick is a Black man who walks around with blue contacts in his eyes. That alone led me to my own conclusions. But I feel that way about any Black person I see with Blue contacts. It's just my own little thing - a pet peeve of sorts if you can call it that. But I didn't think it was that deep to call him out on it. Didn't care too much tbh. It's just that I'm not surprised he's in the hot seat for these types of comments. At all.

Real as hell and really takes care of his people.

I didn't think I'd quite get in because I'm not a huge fan of bounce music, but I gave it a chance (mostly cuz of her tie to GODmation) And just fell in love with him just as a personal overall.  Very humble person. And very respectful of his Black kwee's and community.
