Most 'niggas' aren't into the gay agenda that Lee and his WHITE gay agenda friends are pushing.

USING black people at that.
Also, Lee is one big uncle tom man, he bashes black men just because that don't support the feminization of the black man.
He got threw in a trash can, not a HUMAN SIZED oven.
He did not got through a holocaust, he needs to just be real and admit he can't get a black guy to succumb to his lifestyle so in turn he bashes them and the black community.
My qualm also comes in when he makes one of the sons gay to reflect his life and make the father character look like a bad parent for having his beliefs.

There's also Cookie, the most 'beloved' woman on the show because she's 'a black loud angry woman'.
White people just EAT THAT UP I TELL you.

I won't ever support this circus freak show of a television program.
The devil will STAY a lie.
nnn

I have to agree that its no surprise to me that white people love this show. :dead:

Then why do black people watch Love and Hip Hop (insert city) or Basket ball wives? Those are some of the worst portrayals of black people on tv.
lol

I never said that black people shouldn't like this show or don't like this show.
I'm black and I love it. So why shouldn't others...

My comment here was specifically in regard to our counterparts.

It's most noted also that the ratings association has put down that myth that Empire is most liked by blacks.

If I remember correctly from the data that I SAW:

50% hispanics
30% caucasions
15% blacks
5% asians

Barbie Dangerous

I feel like the black viewership is less than 70% tbh.

it seems like black people only have a problem with overt racism not subtle racism. They really went off when Cookie was in that ape suit yet Joseline and them stay apeing constantly. I don't get it.

yummy

I agree with the fact that there are subtle traces of racism in that show as well. Just the fact that a "Puerto Rican princess" is the lead woman of a predominately black hip hop show...it's just another message our young girls are absorbing. but I won't even go there. Because that's just my opinion.

But you have to remember that overt racism is clearly easier to detect, which would be why more people have a problem with it. When things are done subtly or sneakily, they're done that way in order to evade detection or controversy.

?Empire? last Wednesday night (66.9%) were African-Americans. It joins ABC?s Thursday tandem of ?Scandal? (42% African-American) and newcomer ?How to Get Away Murder? (41%) as broadcast dramas in which more than 4 in 10 viewers are black.

So it's close to 70 percent. Doesn't surprise me that a vast majority of viewers are black. But take into account the other 37 percent.....that's a LOT of people for a show that brings in those types of ratings.

There's nothing subtle about the cooning on LHH tho. It's just another case of selective outrage. Black people like ghetto, hood, ratchet tv but they don't like to be reminded of it.

I see your point now. Basically, how can someone put down EMPIRE for lack of depth and for cooning out and mess, and then bring out the popcorn for the latest episode of L&HH.

I agree.
