The probably most important and best thing you can do for your skin and literally slow down ageing is wear sunscreen.
My dad's family are prone to skin cancer so he pours it on himself all day everyday.
And he looks very good for 60 :dead
I've been slacking so now I have a mole on my lip :hmph:
Black people think they don't need it but we do as well, for us it's more serious because the signs usually blend into our skin untill it becomes noticeable and by then it's serious.

Like regular sunscreen I could buy at the local store?  Or a special kind?

I just hate that sunscreen makes you feel all greasy.
Any kind that suites you tbh
Drug store SS are great
Broad Spectrum is the best because it protects you against UVA and UVB
!!! Most sunscreens look greasy on black people, but there are a few that are perfect
I've been using Neurogena Dry Touch for years now
It comes in different SPFs, lotions,  sprays and creams
I use the sun sticks because you literally just roll it on and rub it in
They all go and a BIT white but absorb clear on the skin

!!!

But I slack with body sunscreen. I don't play when it comes to my face, though.
My body is rarely exposed
I just do my face ears and neck

Naturally, I have pretty great skin, but sometimes I wonder if I really don't.

People like Beyonce and Solange seem to have good genes, but I imagine they're probably still doing thousand dollar skin routines.

Does anyone know what that diamond facial stuff is that Beyonce and J.Lo were said to be doing where it's like $1,000 a bottle?  :uhh:

BAPHOMET.

if I dont put sunscreen on my fucking face hurts like a bitch and its red af.

the sun is no joke.

Yeah exfoliating >>

I exfoliate every other day though. Exfoliating every day seems harsh.

Y'all pit sunscreen on your face? Is it good to use anything over SPF 30?

FlowerBomb

Our skin offers way more protection than other races, but not immunity from the sun.

I hate that i can't use that Neutrogena Dry Touch. It's so affordable, but it makes my eyes burn.
use the sun sticks
It doesn't run like a lotion
DAB it as spots on your face and rub it in rather than using it like lotion where your rubbing it all over your face with your hands

Spf30 is the maximum protection
There's less than 3% difference between spf30 and the higher SPFs
