Columbia?  EEK!

I mean, BOOK!  But good luck with that.  As a Beyonc? fan, I can tell you that the artist will have to do most of the legwork.  Columbia is slow to do literally EVERYTHING!  They don't have any major rap acts over there either, so I can confidently say their staff won't know how to really promote an artist like Remy.

But on the flipside, labels are starting to see female rappers as profitable.  So, SONY might put a lot behind her to compete with Atlantic (Cardi) and Universal (Nicki).

Rem doesn't seem like the type of sit around waiting for the phone to ring. I'm sure her and PAP! are gonna make the most of this.

I'm more surprised a label would put this much behind a A) a female rapper  B) an artist over 30.

PAP! has me screaming.  STFU! jedjdfndnfBBFBF

But no, I agree with you.  Columbia can be a great label if you have a strong management team behind you.  By the looks of her deal, the money is there.  She'll just have to make sure her manager is making the most of it.

And !!!! at the last part.  But like I said, with Cardi B getting a #1 and all that press eh got, labels are about to start putting money into female rap again.  It's like all these makeup brands after FENTY launched.

There saying Vince Herbert is her new manager

As in Tamar Braxton's Vince?

Yes
Tamar revealed that on the Breakfast Club
