I feel like Ciara is somewhere in the middle for the public and the industry.

She is, sis needs one solid era to remind people. I have noticed over the years she is starting to get more respect as a PERSON. Everyone has nothing but great things to say about her overall.

I feel like there's a plateau for the dancer/singer artist now.  In the 80's/90's/early 00's, you could lip DOWN  and be a dancer first.  Now, I feel like if you can't get onstage and really give a VOCAL, everyone is kinda like

You have to be a hybrid like Beyonc? now to really get it CRACKIN' as a dancer.  Or be like Rihanna and SZA and just give swag and a vocal.  It's like you almost have to pick a side.

I'd be shocked to see another artist like Ciara over the next 5 years.  Tinashe is like a watered down version of her, and nobody is checking for that aesthetic.

I agree, I mean if Ciara brings something fresh she could fill that lane. The thing about Tinashe and other dancer singers artist that have came after Ciara is that they didn't bring anything new or fresh and the fact that a lot of them Can't dance at Ciara caliber. If you really think about it since 2004. Everybody has compared new dancers to Ciara, as they come and go.
