Ciara is still signed to a major label
so touring & getting "hits" and plaques, but still not getting ppl to buy the entire ALBUM says a lot
Ashanti selling more with her own label says she at least has a loyal fanbase

I agree.

FINE.

Ash kinda stay perched at events though :ohwow:

Red carp!

Kaeli.

Phantom

It is kinda bad that Shans hairy ass can independently outsell queens. But still Ci's overall relevance then and now>>>>>

Genesis

Hit singles, award show performances, plaques from said hit singles & tour>>>>>> selling 40k more and still flopping

Fantasy Ride got outsold by the declaration by like 50k, and "Ciara" outsold Braveheart so i dont understand.

And Ciara being signed is a weak excuse Because Ciara had to fund most of her own videos; if im not mistaken she paid for the whole Basic Instinct album herself

You can't really compare Ashanti and Ciara imo.

Ashanti came out at the peak of R&B/Hip Hop in the mainstream world. Had Ciara came out in 2001 she would have SHAT for dear life. I don't think it's fair to compare the two.

But at the end of the day, Ciara is bigger than Ashanti.
