The B'DAY love is bittersweet for me. I just have to roll my eyes.
The same girls that dragged it in 2006-2007 all of a sudden love it now.
Made it in 2 weeks! Screaming on every track!
Now, it just gets all this universal praise. I remember All Music going back to review it and giving it a perfect score.

It was underrated at the time. And it's slightly overrated now. I've always thought it was amazing, but I don't know if I'd say it's her best work.
I know everyone says it?s ?the real Bey! Carefree! Not trying to be Deep!?
But I cannot take her seriously singing about her Kitty Kat or Freakum Dress.
She sounds amazing, great harmonies & stuff

Deja Vu, and Resentment>>>>
The thing I like about B'DAY is how well it aged. Probably due to the live instruments and beat choices on a lot of the songs.
A record like "Kitty Kat" could drop right now. I love that classic Neptunes production. And really? @ "Freakum Dress". IDK. I feel records like that capture her personality the best. Even "Kitty Kat".
The way it fit so well into The Formation Tour.
But I know you've always hated B'Day. JSJFJASDFJnnnnnnn
"Green Light", "Kitty Kat", "Deja Vu", "Freakum", "Ring The Alarm", "Upgrade".... I think all those records are still sick.
It's a strong cohesive project.
