I think people are hot because Eve gave an unpopular opinion. If she kissed Nicki's ass and praised the photoshoot no one would give a fuck. Everyone has a past, but that does not mean they are not able to evolve and change. She spoke on how she felt about it in reference to what she would do.

I see so many people in here saying, "Eve was asked to give her opinion!" and "Paid to do!" and variations of that.  I don't think there's anything wrong with her expressing her opinion.

I think we're just expressing our disagreement.

The only issue I have with Eve is her saying, "I don't think it's right!"   And using terms like, "As a woman..."

If we're going to bring up "kids" and "role models", then why just 4 years ago was she making music that included lots of profanity and sexually explicit lyrics?  Are we just talking about sexualized imagery or also sexualized and profane lyrical content?  Why is one more harmful than the other?

Because...

QuoteHey hey, I don't care what bitches say
None of ya'll can fuck with me
I'm the bitch you wanna be
Wait, who? I'm the bitch you wanna be
None of ya'll can fuck with me
I'm the bitch you tryna be

Ain't really for the kids either and she was just saying that in 2013.

I just find her whole stance to be fake and hypocritical.  But I suppose you can "grow" and "change your mind" within 4 years.  But Eve is 39.  4 years ago she was 35.  Older than Nicki is now.

So, I'm just not buying this DayTime TV garbage she's spitting now for standing ovations and handclaps.

But MESS!

Within that four year time frame, Eve became a wife and a stepmother. So her perception on things have probably changed because of that. Her priorities have shifted.

But, it kind of reminds me of when Christians get "saved" and then they suddenly have a lot to say about things other people are doing. Or, when someone gets on a diet and suddenly becomes a nutrition expert. Ultimately, there will be people who look at you and will say "Girl you were just twerking in the club with a burger in your hand last week. Miss me with the sermon."

I'd get this more if Eve just offered her opinion on it unwarranted. But they literally asked her what she thought about it now. Not what she thought of it in 98 or 2008, but today. Tbh, I dont see her response being too different than what a lot of successful, driven, forward thinking women in her age group would say.
Like what's the outrage for?
:uhh:

I could see if she called her scum of the earth or say she would never do something like that etc...

Boomz

"Change in thinking!"

She became the white man's whore
