No lies

Hip Hop & R&B will eventually run the same course as Rock & Roll. Sad but inevitable
this is probably true

But the next wave will probably be started by blacks too tbh

She ain't lying!

That "Strip That Down" song featuring Quavo came on the radio this morning.  And I couldn't believe how big that song was on Pop radio.

Chris Brown and others have been making that same song for the last 10 years.

And I can't wait to watch Justin's presumable R&B single be exalted as the best song of the decade.
:kii:

The way ?Suit and Tie? was praised for eternity. That shit Is dry as FUCK

yummy

Meh.

They were blatantly doing this in fifties and sixties when they were slapping white people on album covers for black groups. Everything is cyclical and I'm sure R&B will eventually regain its commercial viability.

:guys:

Or Monica! hehe!

TheletterJ

Her statement is so true but it?s also an issue we have with ourselves. Brandy and Monica are a prime example ...  we as fans get so caught up in she?s better because of this or she?s better because of that, instead of supporting because they are different and both very good af at what they do. We have to take some ownership in our favs demise. Bottom line is, we should support because we are hurting our artist and making it hard for them to win!
