Everyone will always have an opinion on what's best for kids.
There are people who don't think gays/gay couples should have children and actually back up their opinion with research/studies, etc. They manage to make solid arguments and points based on facts and statistics. I can't lie.
Doesn't mean that'll stop me from having my child. You can pull up as many Powerpoint presentations as you'd like. If you're not paying my child's tuition, babysitter bills, or any of my bills....I probably wouldn't want to hear what you have to say.
It's all highly subjective. Ultimately the most important thing that the kid is fed, clean and has something in their brain. Just because you raise a child a certain way doesn't mean they will adhere to it throughout their lifetime. People wander from their upbringing all the time. So there's no telling even if you try your best to mold them to be your ideal human being.
Just give them your love, protect them and make sure they are taken care of. Everything else is secondary.
