It does take less time when you don?t write ALL the songs and you?re 1 take Whitney in the studio so you have spare time to shoot movies

To be fair, Whitney didn't have spare time until after she was done with all those movies. When she wasn't recording albums or shooting those movies, she was on the road & touring non-stop. Mariah never toured much until recently.
