They usually have like 20 ppl to a singing group I'm sure you won't even notice he isn't there

People don't kill themselves because they're bored. They do it because they have serious issues and don't see a way out (usually). Of course it is selfish in a way, but I don't think anyone should judge without knowing what the person was going through.

  There are thousands of other options out there for you and he is old or was old enough to seek those out.   I stand by what I said

I just don't understand where this judgement comes from? I hear the same things Nick said about suicide all the time from quite a few people.
When Chester from Linkin Park died, my friend was like "How selfish, he has kids! What a coward!". And I remember when Robin Williams died my friend even said he did it for attention. Like, jeez, some people are so simpleminded. Like, what part of depression don't you understand. No shade to the suicide bashers here tho.
