i think it'll be a long time before we truly see equality in these arenas

this is still a predominately white country. to me it makes sense that most of the biggest awards, etc. go to them.
we get in our feelings about it and now we have these captain save-a-ho white SJWs popping up but...

this just circles back to the importance of instilling value into our own events, publications, etc . we have plenty of them out there now. instead of making them the butt of a joke, realize that white folk ain't rushing to put anything in our hands. why not take time to really honor one another for our talents.
