A true tragedy. I still don't understand why someone hasn't figured out a way to recover the footage.

The afro-latina mess kinda makes me scream because I remember when telling a Dominican they were black would get you cursed out.
sdsdsdsddsdsdsd

i tried explaining that on here a million times to no avail.
i think unless ur from NYC u just dont understand why someone would be SLOW to call anyone Black regardless of how they look once you hear that Spanish accent.

KJSNdddd

I visited NYC for the first time this week and I get what you mean now.

Here in Mississippi the majority of latinos are Mexican, who are usually Native American & White mixed so all the people who look like Cardi B and Fat Joe are black, so I be confused as hell when people are like they aren't black.

But i guess cause yall are so multicultural it's different. Cause I was so confused I sat by a Dominican family at the airport and I literally blended in.

I went to a gay club and they called this Dominican boy on stage and I'm like who is this nappy headed nigger wtf is going on, but I get what you were saying now
XCCCCCCCCCC

!!

I usually just assume they're black until they speak

This Puerto Rican boy I work with looks like he was born in fcking Nigeria

I was thrown the Fck off when Spanish came out

:plzstop:

But I haven't asked him if he's black or what he considers himself

Race and culture and ethnicity is annoying

I just let people claim whatever

See I knew that but I always had a part of me that was like you're fucking niggers damnit cause it's jarring to me sometimes I can see someone who deadass looks like a family member, but they aren't "black" and I know what it means but at the same time it kinda fucks with your head.

like this woman from Orange is the new black

I woud see her and automatically assume she was a single black mother that was tired of standing on her damn feet at the doctors office as a nurse. She even got that damn haircut they al have.

but when I watched the show and al the "black" girls were dark skinned and some of the latinas looked just like light skin black women I was tf confused. Like I KNEW why but I was still tf confused.

I loved being the only negrodian in my HS, it was just some interesting dynamics going on. the PR vs Dominicans, the white latinos vs the black latinos and the fluent spanish speakers vs the gringas.

You didn't join your Jamacian Brothers to braw lwith the Haitians and Trinis??

its just a lot to deal with. and think about.

it seems many people have this NEED to be able to put someone in a box and categorize them.

it just shows how much racial identity still runs this country . as if trump's presidency hasn't highlighted that enough
