i don't think its really upto netflix to "transfer" anything

i believe they pay licensing fees, etc. to keep these shows on board

so it's not really a "hey we just feel like droppin some shows today" thing
its more of a "are enough ppl watching this for us to keep paying for it" thing.

similar to how cable companies pay to have certain channels, and we end up not having access to them anymore if a contract renewal negotiation goes wrong, etc.

true although they did say they were dropping shows no matter what, because they want more original content only. 

They even dropped ?Buffy? and that was super popular on there
