What's the point of rooting when the music isn't worth rooting for? Alicia has been horrible since "Dyke On Fire" and she's only gotten worse.

Never cared too much for her but it is kinda sad: if Alicia can?t sell then who can? Then again, her music wasn?t that good..

She held it down for a minute though. For a couple of years, in terms of general popularity, she was Bey's main R&B counterpart. DIL went 5x platinum, Diary went 4x. Beyonce won 5 Grammys in 2004, Alicia won 4 in 2005. As I Am went 3x platinum and got a Hot 100 #1, Sasha Fierce did the same the next year. I do think she was slightly overrated though so it balances out now.
