i heard Jersey is kind of expensive as well. How's Connecticut? that seems
like a happy medium but idk

my friends just got a 2 bedroom, 1 bath for $2,600 there.
Which is STEAL vs the rent you'd pay for that in NYC
Connecticut is too far me tho, in terms of work

Harlem

I?m considering moving to Jersey too... still close to the city and u get more amenities and ur money?s worth with some of their housing... I just need a gym & laundry on site and 5 min walk max to the path/NJ Transit and I?m set

KippDaddy

I personally can not stand NYC for more than 24 hours.  I love the diversity but I can?t with all the movement noise trash and traffic.   I?m completely a suburban dude.   I live 35 mins from the city and don?t enjoy venturing it.    I feel like it?s either a place you can live or can not there is no in between.

I lived in Dc and Atl for a year each after college and I love them both.    Both give me innericty with easy retreats to peace and quiet

I have to experience ATL a little bit more before I can give a fair opinion. Everyone who knows me closely has told me I would absolutely HATE it and not like the people, but the few days I was there, it was cute. I could see being tired n over it after a year though. Everything and everybody are on opposite sides of the the fucking city. And it's too major of a city for shit to be closing at like 2am.

Granted, Orlando is like that too. Honestly, that's what it gives... a larger country version of Orlando.

Yea, I might not use...

:udontlookok:

LOONA.

Scott.

My country ass couldn't deal with that NYC shit at all. I'd get eaten alive.

What's the average rent there?

There are lots of cities that are very open minded, like Melbourne or San Francisco
!!! Although SF is arguably more expensive than NYC in some spots

It?s demonic

#Mu7

Come to the DC MD Northern Va metro. The cost of living is also high but there are still some moderately affordable places that are nice too.

It's very very diverse here.

!!!! I LOOOOVE NYC, but I do see myself eventually leaving for those same reasons (own property, raise a family, ect.). But when I visit other places, even back to my HOMETOWN, I'm always ready to get the fuck back to the city after a few days. There's just no better city on earth... literally. :dead: I like having options, feeling productive, and always having something to DO. Its gonna be really hard to leave..... and its most likely because Im younger and its fulfilling my needs and wants as of NOW, but I just dont know...

They say if you can live in NYC, you can live anywhere... but do you really WANT to live anywhere else? I just dont know.... I'm considering LA as a future possibility. I'll let you know if it's cute.

isn't it dirty though, for the most part? thats the one thing i simply can not DO

There's nothing wrong with it, I guess, depending on your goals and desires...
But NYC is a place where'd you find 2-3 roommates living an apartment spliting $3,800 for rent.

:melmel:

It makes me sick.
I can't with that.

NYC rent is fucking ridiculous as well as every thing else. If MTA raises the fair for trains one more fucking time?! Toll for me to get across the bridge from Brooklyn is $16 dollars without an ez pass and $10 with an ez pass. Completely outrageous
:uhh: :uhh:

what the FUCK
