She's not like witty, which was apparent on her talk show. But they could've raised that Talent Fee to at LEAST a mill if she would've had to come up an entirely new set.

I think Monique may have some regret for signing onto PRecious
not in general but just in the sense that no one expected it to blow the fuck up like it did
she took a very low salary for what she probably considered to be a passion project at the time.

ultimately i think she believed that although she took a low salary for a huge film, still all the acclaim would lead to her big payday....
she probably wrote it off as an investment
i think thats why she keeps referring to her resume. like "look  @ my awards, etc im acclaimed! im the most decorated christmas tree" and whatever else she was saying.
