When Prince was on TRL a long time ago, Carson Daly or whoever was host at the time asked him what he thought of the song "Sexy Back."  Prince said, if you ask him, sexy never left.  That was it .

Then Justin Timberlake makes a diss track saying "If sexy never left then why's everybody on my sh*t.  Don't be mad you didn't com up with it."  And "when you see me, turn and walk the other way."

Now, Janet was a superstar before that nip slip. He just happened to be let off the hook for it and Janet was not.  And it ruined her career.

In the song, Justin was referencing how Janet went on the Oprah show and said she had not heard an apology from Justin and no longer considered him a friend because friendship means a lot to her.  So he dissed her for that.
