I don't agree with Maddie saying that her purchases had much to do with how far the show got, though.

If you're ensuring that a trademark is in place, it's just more of legal protection. Your viewers don't see that. Or care tbh
Necessary... yes. but it has little to do with the actual entertainment factor of your show or how many viewers you'd get, etc.

Saying you dropped 1K+ on the trademark and several hundred dollars to buy a domain from someone else really says little about what really made the show what it was, and what got people interested. So if she's building her case on that here, it's a pretty weak case.

I have to be fair here.

But she's rightfully digging into Khia. And gnawing on the arms of that molded couch for filth. I'm here for it.

The missed opportunity with Nicki in itself is enough for Maddie to be fuming.

All because Khia didn't have realistic expectations . Maddie's view was more realistic. Use the interview to build the brand and get more people to come on there, then really start making higher demands.

Seems like Khia's pride and ego was hanging in the balance with what she was offered. At the end of the day, Nicki is a female rapper and Khia is lowkey pissed at all of them. No shade. I could imagine that the very least she'd want from having to interview her peer would be a very nice fat check.

I'm not surprised that she genuinely didn't really care about all the other stuff that needed to be done to really secure what they were setting into place.

You knew what you were dealing with when you invited Khia on. Someone who is pretty complacent and satisfied with sitting on a couch and talking shit. It's not realistic for Maddie to have expected her to really take interest in the technicalities of everything - all the nooks and crannies of good business. Khia just wanted to sit down and talk shit.

On that side of things, I kinda see more of Khia's side.
