I would recommend doing some research on Dave and Chris's careers and compare it to Mo'nique's.

I enjoyed Soul Plane just as much as the next person but I can't say she's on that level with them.

That's not what people are saying. It's more about the intrinsically imbalanced success rates of black men compared to black women. The entrainment industry doesn't allow much room for any colored female to gather the hope of ever reaching the level of a Chris Rock or Dave.

If someone has a shit reputation in the entertainment industry they don't work and they aren't being thrown money.   it's happened to people MUCH bigger than Monique.
