Mo'nique has just had much more of a recent presence which allowed her to exist in the internet age and ultimately reach people who otherwise wouldn't have been very familiar with her as a comedian.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think The Parkers is in syndication over there in Europe.

yes she won an Oscar, but we have to realize anybody outside of her immediate demographic, nobody is going to click on a comedy special just because she's pictured. "Oh that's the mom from Precious, lemme click!"

and being that Netflix is a private tech company, it's VERY hard to prove anything outside of their "analytics"

but I'm noticing trying to bring Tiffany into it so it will be come a black female issue and not a Monique issue, so I wonder if Whoopie or anybody else will back her now.
