I think Ralf's response to Luda's light skin comment wasn't much different than the backlash Dave East got on here for sharing the experiences he faced as a lighter skinned man.

The immediate response I saw was "nigga u aint light skinned stop lying"
"woe is me! boy please. outta here with these fables".

He really could have faced some things that bothered him but I just saw it all being disregarded as delusions or something.

I just don't like the way Ralf is being singled out in some way in here. He's far from the first person to do this here.

His post was silly tbh and there was no correlation between what Luda said and what Amandla said.

I think the difference is Dave referring to struggles with being light skinned
which can come off kinda the wrong way being that light skin is praised and celebrated
vs Luda just saying he's light skinned at all, not complaining or anything
and Ralf objecting to it
2 different scenarios

They'd be two different scenarios if people weren't questioning Dave's complexion to begin with once he shared the experience.

They seemed confused that he considers himself lighter skinned, just as Ralf seems confused that Luda sees himself that way.

Iman was the main one saying he isnt light, I think Bent chimed in
but its not like "everybody was questioning if he's light and no one complained!"

Neither was anyone else here once they pounced on it. So what's your point of bringing that up to me? lol

And what does Luda refering his skin color in a joke have to do with the Dave East fiasco? There's no correlation there either. Not Ralf posts or you bringing up Dave.

I lowkey wanted to say something but instead I just defended him by posting pics of where he looks a lil different here and there depending on the pic/time it was taken, etc.

Someone in here brought up how much people treat light skin as an "honor" - they were accusing you of putting it so high on a pedestal that you move to question someone who claims they are light.

I've seen that happen on here before with no backlash. So there's the "correlation".
