then the article turned around and named all the blacks/minorities they are currently working with so it was kinda confusing tbh

We know Hollywood DEFINITELY has a long way to go in the inclusion department and obviously NetFlix needs to make some changes, but we can?t run around calling everyone racist or even hinting at it, really.

You better make sure you have the bold hard facts to back up those statements when you do, because NetFlix has done nothing but impress me with all of their black content and the freedom they?ve given those same black producers and writers like Ava DuVernay and Lena Waithe to do their own thing.

Now if this were a case of NetFlix simply giving us ?black shows? here and there and paying us a nice little chunk while their white creators and writers continue to run the proverbial show, then I?d have an issue.

That isn?t the case here. Black writers and producers are doing their fuckin THING over at NetFlix and have even left the biggest conglomerate out there in Disney/ABC to do so. 

NetFlix definitely needs to have more inclusion in terms of their executive staff (which this article highlighted) and that?s something we can discuss, but that?s a separate issue IMO. Just wanted to make that clear lol

I would actually encourage a company that was making statements concerning diversity and hiring the best new black talent to represent us on a major platform. not boycott it's products

so ... still not sure what the beef with netflix is, that's all I'm saying

it's called focusing your efforts
let's boycott CBS, ABC, NBC, BET ... stations that have painted us in a sexual, predatory, and violent manner ... ya know ... for decades

That's why I can't get with these gorls mindsets that ain't about standing up for what's right. They'd rather defend Netflix for 3 or 5 black shows it offers than to admit the truth of the scenario. Or they'll acknowledge it, and attach a "but" at the end of their statements

Personally, nobody is disagreeing with Ralf about unequal pay but as black man it certainly is barely affecting him if we want to be FRANK. I feel as though any person that accepts less than what they believe they are worth then that's something they need to reflect upon and that's kind of that.

These woke people are starting to pluck my damn nerves; everything is not a damn conspiracy or not done to slight us. Get the fucking credential and learn how to speak and negotiate get the damn salary you want. It's that simple.

AND I AM still tuned into watch all the BLACK SHOWS and the fucking white SHOWS that have helped launched some of the black HISTORY makers winning EMMYS and etc in Black Hollywood now.
