It really sucks that she died when she did.  Celebrity endorsements really became a big thing in the early-mid 2000s.  They gave them here and there earlier (like Brandy for Cover Girl), but that didn't really pick up until later.  Same with fashion magazine covers.  Aaliyah would have slayed endorsements and covers if she lived a bit longer.
