In December 2016 he was told ? there may have been some misappropriation of University-provided financial aid funds.? He alerted the Howard University Board of Trustees and outside auditors were brought in and an investigation was launched. In May of 2017 he learned the results: over a 9 year period $1 million in funds had been misappropriated. In September of 2017, the six were fired.

Students take grants all the time and use them for non educational purposes. While student loans pay for school etc. it?s not the smartest thing but it is very common. He just got extra upon extra it seems lol

Agreed - it's far from uncommon for students to conveniently use "extra" money from their grants to pick up things they don't really need.

I just think we're too hard on each other sometimes. Ton was in here thinking he'd already admitted to being fired as a result of an audit and mess. We're ready to convict him before the receipts are even printed.

Yeah he paraded around and clearly wanted attention, and is very into himself as well. He's guilty of wanting to be seen and noticed. 100%. But everything else is up in the air. Let's give him a chance. He's a smart young Black man who had an impressive GPA and is on his way to law school.

yes, and students with excellent grades etc. like him are eligible for all types of grants.
and He's actually on his LAST month of Law School. He takes the Bar exam in a couple months.
