cardi doesnt identify as black because latinas have their own identity here in NYC

i think its hard for some of u to understand ...maybe a bit complex and weird for u cuz ur not from here

but she clearly identifies with her african roots. she's even spoken out on other latinas who deny the fact that they have african in their blood.

not saying shes out here tryna be sista souljah and im not saying she's 100% black either - she comes from a mixed heritage.but she knows she has some black in her, she acknowledges it and doesn't run away from it like other people do.

She still refuses to call herself black or even call herself a black latina.

So with that being said she shouldnt enjoy the right for her anti black comments.

Would you excuse a white boy for being racist just because his  great grandfather was black?

plenty of them clearly got some black up in them but they have their own identity here. their own culture, their own swag. a lot of them even have a certain (stereotypical) look.
