Mariah's always been honest and open about her own issues. This one is pretty big and mental health is sort of a taboo topic in the music industry/hollywood so it's understandable that she waited for so long before this statement.

If anything, Jans and the whole Jackson family are the most fucked up people in the business and they're ultra secretive about it.
