She's clearly referring to today's R&B artists tho...

But Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith and Adele are closer to "Soul", than fka twigs, Tink or Dawn Richard.

She could have named Laura Mvula or Syleena Johnson... I think even we as blacks find our own black artists boring and stale when they do that wholesome soulful music like Kem, Leelah James, Viviane Green...

I am guilty too often. We like our black acts edgy and go up when whites do a plain ballad mess.

Doesn't change the fact that we as blacks throw all soulful black artists straight to Urban AC and kii at them, but go up for 'dele's new mess.

If Jaz' was a white womuh she would be on Adele's level tbqfh.

iman

The part about niggers going up for white artists who do what black people can do is sooooo true. :stressed: This girl is preaching for the Gods.

fucking awful

not her just randomly waking up one day and deciding to be a rapper

Miranda

Am mean even from the British gorls.

Amy Winehouse, Duffy, Adele gave us "Soul".
Estelle, Leona Lewis, Taio Cruz gave "R&B" or straight up pop.
