Just to elaborate:

You're questioning the lack of support of black artists from black people, but it all goes back to the separation and divisiveness within our community, from our inner social classes (many of which are falsely self created through social media), to our skin tones, to our hair textures. All of which results in competition (and envy toward anyone who is found to be exalted in any way) amongst one another as opposed to working with and supporting one another.
