They're not "looking" for representation but there is representation, relatability, and familiarity. And people tend to watch things, particularly black people, that contain those things.

I think that's the very reason why everybody wants this mess CANCELED/revamped. This cast is an embarrassment.

Like I said before, live ratings don't necessarily matter because the Housewives franchise is geared more toward binge viewership. Atlanta's online presence alone will keep it around for some time. The day Atlanta is canceled is the day Bravo takes an entirely new direction.

Well this season is not good so far imo, but it's crazy how people are calling for this to be cancelled.

Same idiots on Twitter saying this should be cancelled will be crying about lack of representation on TV.

It all depends on how the revamped RHONY do.  If it flops, that's one thing, but I bet Bravo would love to get rid of their vets and start anew in most cities with a cheaper, new cast.

The difference is that the RHOA fanbase actually WANTS a full revamp or cancellation.

Regardless if the RHONY mess is a success or not, I don't think it'd be a good prediction of how a RHOA revamp would do. If done right, a RHOA revamp could be very successful.

A trap that RHOA has fallen into is that the fanbase really only desires to see "big names" join the show.

The new housewives would need to be known celebrities themselves or married to big names (e.g. athletes, musicians, etc.). I'm just not sure if a revamped mess with a bunch of new no name girls would work for RHOA, like it does for Potomac, Married to Mess, etc.
