i dunno...it kinda seemed to me like since he was the product of an actual marriage and a better place in her life
she leaned more towards him than the older one
but then again he was the youngest, her baby boy. so that coulda been it too.
by the time we saw the older one on TV he was definitely at that age where she needed to be tougher on him and not coddling him at all, even if she wanted to.
but i always wondered if the older one was a tid bit jealous of the younger
She probably does love Brent more because as you said he came during a happier, healthier and more stable time in her life.
Brent is a lot less trouble that is for sure and I think parents appreciate that.
The older one is a piece of work giving his much younger and innocent brother's name to the police.
He got a lot kids too. Three confirmed and two wanting paternity tests.
