There is something aspirational about a woman picking up the pieces of her life and changing her circumstances.  And I'm sure the majority of the females 18-35 demo have been in her situation or at least thought about it.

Actually, that's not completely true for television.  Sanya does have a great life though. But she herself has made decisions that would deem her more relatable.

This is beyond the spectrum of television. Yes, I give Sanya grief about her being boring and dry on the show, however, I'm not ever going to take away her accomplishments as a mother, a wife, and someone that little brown girls could look up to and aspire to be.

Yes, And I agree with that. Sanya is incredibly accomplished! But I'm only talking about television. And getting those demos up. Believe it or not but there's a larger percentage of the audience who would find her as someone to aspire to be if she was struggling/overcoming with something, people don't turn on their tv and see a cute face and say I wanna be them. You have to connect on a deeper level than that!

That's why I disagreed with Kenya in my original post but y'all didn't wanna have the conversation. I guess I'm misunderstood.

I agree with Kenya about the caution of listening to the fans.  These are also the same fans that were begging for them to bring the production team for Potomac over and they did, and now everyone is complaining that it's production that ruined the show.
