Cynthia actually showed who she really is when that whole thing went down where she plotted with kandi with the party invite mess years ago
She was literally heard on audio basically admitting she knew she was being sneaky and it had to keep it low key
People were just SO TIRED of nene at that point that they didn't want to give her even a second of thinking she was right about something

I always felt nene was giving a truthful tea about Cynthia. She never sounded like she was exaggerating and Cynthia never really pushed back hard when nene would clock her mess about how she operates when cameras are down.
She always said there was another side to Cynthia and she was def close enough to Cynthia to see it, if it existed.
