Sounds like it's just the mortgage he's talking about   and maybe that 200k (or whatever it was) lein the lawyer put on the house against him because he lost, was salty, and didnt pay but sounds like that 1.5 million is supposed to speak to all that. This is a win. SORRY

im not super deep on this story but if Simon was actually FIGHTING to keep the house, he can't then turn around and say it's a relief that he lost it to Porsha. u kinda lost the battle so just take ur L. u clearly saw value enough in it to try and keep it, and it just didn't work out for you.

but if he willingly signed it over like "here gorl take it..thats all u mama" that's entirely different and would make sense of his lil smart comments after the fact

im sure Porsha's accountants have done their due diligence and crunched the numbers to ensure the property is worth holding onto, and what upkeep would look like based on her current/projected income

if Simon was tryna keep it we can assume there's value. even tho we're not in the pockets of Porsha and Simon and don't know ALL the numbers and what it would look like for Porsha after this win in regards to keeping up with it.

1.2 million in equity isn't exactly chump change or an underwater/headin for foreclosure tea

i see people saying her RHOA salary won't cover the new house but Porsha has multiple streams of income that were launched by her place on RHOA. so u can kinda try to count what's in her purse and guesstimate but it won't be exact.

there's RHOA but there's also her hair company, social media revenue, sponsorships, appearances, any investments she might have, etc. i wouldn't be surprised if her RHOA salary is just the tip of the iceberg.

but i'll give it to her....she's smart enough to know not to mess with niggas who can't offer you anything other than a roll around on their twin mattress, some drama and an STD.

sometimes the monthly upkeep of a house that size can rival or surpass the monthly mortgage cost

that's actually what gets a lot of people in trouble when they get huge properties - realizing they bit off more than what they can chew in that regard. many make the mistake of ONLY looking at/forecasting the mortgage and not who you have to hire every month to keep it looking presentable. the acres of land that must be kept up, the house itself, etc.

even people who purchase smaller properties make that mistake. they take the max the bank's approved them for and move forward without really crunching numbers and leaving breathing room

but i think Porsha's lived there and handled it on her own long enough to know what it costs every month and whether she can keep up or not

i can see why people are questioning if she can handle it but i highly doubt we'll be hearing about a foreclosure anytime soon. **cough**KIM!**cough**
