Vocally and success-wise, I think her peak was during the Sasha Fierce era.  Single Ladies is her most iconic song and video.  She started catching way more criticism after that, unlike the honeymoon phase she had between 2002-2008.  After that, the lip-syncing Inauguration, Solange and elevator-gate, divorce rumors, surrogate baby theories, copycat labels, etc. started being way more pervasive.
