The overwhelming devotion to church/religion, especially christianity
It's jarring, degrading and naive to support an institution that discriminates and segregates the hell out of you on a daily basis just because you're so scared that a sci-fi character will punish you for just living as you are.
oh and letting astrology/tarot rule your whole life. I don't believe in it but some aspects are really interesting and might be useful when making an important decision. But letting them take over your whole daily routine or the pointless decisons you make is absolutely ridiculous. And it's a common practice.
