I'm always in defense mode (mentally) on the train, when I'm sitting, and someone is near me without holding onto the pole.

Here in NYC, people think they can maintain their balance while the train is in motion and refuse to hold onto the poles. And then want to FALL onto you, and say "oh sorry"
