Is it true they learn to use the litter box on their own?

Only give a kitten the special milk for cats. Don?t give them anything from your own plate or else they become super annoying when you are eating. I used to have a spoiled cat that was haunting for my cheese, cake.. if you only give the the regular food and maybe some cat treats that is best. I usually give the cat a treat when I call her outside and she listens and goes inside...I know on insta there are also some cat school pages. My cat loves to walk in the park outside with me (like a dog) and climb trees on command, I wish I knew the cat school pages earlier lol so I could have trained her. But I guess it also depends on the cat..some are willing to learn others will ignore you or walk away. Cats can be very shady

When they can go outside it is so much easier, but it depends on where you live

I live in an apartment

I really am nervous. Thought of something depending on me to care for it is so scary that last dog I had I was 14 and my mom took care of it

Should I just not get it?

Oh and also don?t waste too much money on a bed for the cat. Most cats prefer a simple cardboard box

Well you have to feed it every day
And you have to find someone to take care of it when you are on holiday
My last cats were 19 and 17 years old, so they can be with you for a long time
I personally love cats and think they are good distractions
Most cats can be alone for quite some time and they will do their own thing (dogs are more needy, you don?t have to walk a cat).

It depends on your apartment, it can walk around..most of the time they have a lot of energy but also sleep a lot. It is always good to chose an energetic kitten by the way, those are most healthy.
Make sure you don?t have little things like rubber bands on the floor, they will play it and try to eat it

Most cats like the sticks with a little rope and some feathers or a ball. I know a lot of people use the laser pens but I think it is a bit sad. I know my kitten loved a stuff animal to sleep with when it first arrived, probably because it was used to sleep with the mom/brothers/sisters
